Hey y'all,
We wanted to post an update on what we've been working on here at CMM the last couple of weeks!
Biggest news
Please say hello on Instagram and YouTube to our new community/customer service manager Jason! He's another member of our old dream team that was able to join us full time at CMM, and we're lucky to have him! A gun guy through and through he's gotten elbow deep right off the bat and is responding daily to emails, DMs, and messages and still finding time to reorganize the entire shop and clear our refurbishment backlog! Make sure you say hello on Instagram!
OKPs
We've been working hard with our partners to improve the quality of the OKPs. Scaling up production introduced some irregularities in quality control. The good news is because we're working with one very good partner we've been able to get these issues addressed directly, this was part of the reason for the delay our September release. Additionally we're adding serial numbers to all our OKPs going forward which means we'll be able to pinpoint any future issues but also means our lifetime warranty will now be able to follow the sight instead of the customer! We want to make sure we're able to support our sights even if they're gifted or once we're able to start wholesale distribution. We will stand behind our products and this is another step to make sure we can.
OKP Shroud
We've been continuing to iterate the design and are now on our 60th (?) version. The delay has been in trying to use passive light amplification to ensure low light performance. This unfortunately has not worked as we hoped it would. We're now on to Mk4 version to incorporate active lighting. No ETA on when we'll be ready to ship.
30cal pintle/pic Traverse and Elevation Adapter
With the additional help we've been able to have at the shop we were able to get back onto this project, and our latest prototype didn't explode immediately when stress was applied! We're currently working on the next iteration to improve tolerances and better materials to improve durability but still maintain the low weight. Keep an eye out for updates!
Apparel
Our Essential Button Down and Mountain Boonie have been approved from the last iterations and are going into production now, so expect to see them in the coming weeks!
