FAQs

Why is your website so basic?

First, ouch.

Second, in truth we did not anticipate how excited everyone would be about what we're doing, so we were still doing a lot of background work when some awesome dudes released their Coverage of GunCon and our traffic blew up.

That said we're working overtime to bring our product descriptions and photos up to snuff so y'all know what you're buying and that way there are no surprises.

What is the return policy?

Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, just email or call us and we'll get ya right.

Where are your products manufactured?

Currently our OKP sights are manufactured in China, and our clothes come from trusted suppliers in South America. We are very picky about who we work with. Even with our intent to grow and onshore manufacturing we still expect to source some products and components from abroad if we can't match quality domestically.

Why should I buy an OKP from y'all and not off Ebay or Temu?

Excellent Question! There are certainly some good quality clones out there, we just weren't happy with the varying quality from seller to seller that we found. We figured if two in three wasn't up to snuff we'd end up spending $450 to get one quality version, so we decided to cut out the uncertainty.

The second reason is because we provide a sole point of customer service. No tracking down a seller and hoping their account is still active. You call or email us and we're here to help.

Lastly because we're taking the money you spend with us and turning it around to bring other fever dreams to reality. We loved the OKP and wanted to share it with y'all, and with each sale we're closer to bringing you more cool ideas.

Will y'all be keeping OKPs in stock or is this a limited run?

We intend to keep them in stock even after they stop selling. Part of our plan to honor our warranty is to make sure we keep sufficient stock to be able to either repair or replace optics as long as they're in the field. This is our baseline philosophy.

When will y'all have more inventory in stock?

We are releasing OKPs in batches right now. We're still very new and we want to make sure our shipping and inventory tracking is good. We want to under promise and over deliver. We're also working with the manufacturer to expedite more based on the excitement y'all have shown!

What's your relation with Stuff And Things Inc?

We have loved STInc and their philosophy for a long time. Being admirers of their work and their beards, we knew we wanted to work with them if at all possible. Being the cool and crazy dudes they are we were able to come to an arrangement where they are the brilliant minds helping make our crazy concepts actually function. If you're not familiar with their work we highly recommend you check them out.

When will I get my order?

Our current turn around is 3 business days, but we are already identifying improvements we can make to our process to speed up shipping.

Are any purchases final sale?

We are unable to accept returns on clothing items. These will be carefully marked before purchase.

Who We Are, Why We're Here

We've been asked a lot about who we are and why we're doing this, so story time. Years ago a couple of guys worked together in uniform. They realized they worked great as a team and agreed whenever they got out they should work together. They also found they saw the same problems and wanted solutions. They also agreed that some day they should all work together.

Fast forward to 2024 and Earle Pope decided it was time to make that come true. Founded and incorporated in NC he decided to start working to make that happen. Over the next two years he worked to find talented folks to help him and suppliers that could produce the products they wanted, all while keeping in mind wanting to "get the band back together."

In 2026 we were able to bring that dream together by bringing back Eliott and Danielle Westbrook and Jason Richards to create the dream team, while still looking to bring back more misfits.

We brought our products to GunCon this year to put them in front of real customers and make sure we were on the right track, and we are very appreciative of y'alls excitement and honest feedback. We've already begun putting that feedback into action.

Our goal is to bring y'all products we would buy, and then stand behind them. If someone is doing it better or if we make a mistake we want to stay Appalachian honest and tell the truth. We want to prove that just because some principles are old doesn't mean they're out of date.

We hope you follow us as we continue to bring y'all products we love and want you to love too.
