Updates on September OKPs and OKP Shroud

Updates on September OKPs and OKP Shroud

Hey y'all!

Two quick updates on OKPs.

First, we are aware of the issue regarding zeroing some OKPs. There seems to be an issue of tolerances in the machining process, assembly, and setting the windage and elevation adjustments. This appears to be popping up with less than 5% of our OKPs, mostly the dovetail version. If you have this issue please email or call us and we'll get you swapped out.

Second, while we're working out this issue going forward our September shipment is on hold. We want to make sure all of our clone OKPs are right before they head out, so we're working with the engineers to get things straightened out. We've already taken steps to get these back in stock as soon as the issue is resolved.

Exciting news!

We're growing our staff and that's helping us improve our customer service response times and shipping times. We are still looking for a part time engineer for our Raleigh office, but we hope to find someone soon. This growth is freeing up other staff to focus on development of other products, which leads us to some exciting news!

Our prototype OKP shrouds will be heading out soon for their initial rounds of testing! These shrouds add both protection for your OKP lens as well as improve light capture for the sensor improving low light operations for our OKP clone!

We also will be sending some staff out on a field trip soon to do some torture testing on the latest version of our Mountain Boonie and some other interesting clones we would like to bring to market, so keep an eye out for our new upcoming fall releases!
