Are these the same OKPs I can find on AliExpress and eBay?
Yes and no. We found that it's a mixed bag out there, and it depended a lot seller to seller on if you were getting a cheap clone or a decent reproduction.
So we found the primary manufacturers, tested them and worked with the best of them to optimize them for use on real firearms from the factory.
Our OKPs include an improved power switch and improved windage and elevation adjustments as well as some additional nice to haves in each box like spare batteries, loctite, English manual, etc.
The biggest difference between us and other options is our warranty and repair policy. If you have an issue you can send it back to us here in NC for repair, replacement, or a refund.

We expect our products to last and we want our customers to trust us — and our policy is designed to back that.
90-Day Returns
Changed your mind? Return your OKP 7 within 90 days of
delivery for a full refund.
- Sight must be in resalable condition, complete with all parts and packaging.
- No restocking fee. Return shipping is on us.
- Start your return at [returns form link] — we'll email a prepaid label and RMA number. Refunds land in 5–7 business days after we receive it.
Lifetime Warranty
Every OKP 7 is covered for life against defects in materials
and workmanship. If it fails under normal use, we repair or replace it.
- Transferable — the warranty follows the sight, not the buyer. Buy it used, get it as a gift, it's still covered. No original receipt needed; we track coverage by serial number, manual, or order number.
- We pay shipping both ways on every valid warranty repair.
- Typical turnaround: 14–21 calendar days once it reaches our bench.
Covered: emitter/LED failure, optical defects, electronics and switch failures, housing, windage/elevation failures, damaged glass — anything that fails under normal use.
Not covered: loss or theft, deliberate abuse or crushing, excessive cosmetic wear, damage from unauthorized repair, and batteries.

Start a Repair
Submit a request to general@chestnutmountainmfg.com with your name, contact info, serial number/order number/or manual, and the issue. We'll send a prepaid shipping label. Ship it, and we'll handle the
rest — with email updates when it arrives and when it ships back. Our typical turn around right now is 2-3 business days from receipt.

When will I get my order?
We're currently shipping within 1-2 business days from order placement. Most orders ship same day if they're placed before 2PM EST.
How much does shipping cost?
We ship for free to the lower 48. We respect that you're giving us a shot as a new company and we appreciate that, so the shipping is on us. We default to using UPS or USPS.
